Non Governmental help
There are many non governmental organizations that are helping the people of Darfur. Each organization offers a different way of help. Action agains hunger helps bring food in Chad, Africare helps people into refugee camps in Gozbebe. The American Jewish World Service helps raises funds to rehabilitate water sources. The organizations range from bring clean water to giving out plastic huts for children. These groups are doing an amazing thing.
Help from the Government.
There has been a ton of Governmental responses to Darfur so we'll focus on Minni Minnawi. Minni Minnawi was the first chair of this authority. He held office from April 2007 through December 2010. There was a peace agreement that was signed making Minni senior assistant for President Omar al Bashir and chairman of Transitional Darfur Regional Authority. President Omar al-Bashir also responded to Darfur.
